Forget The Walking Dead. The best zombie show on TV is CW's delightful comic book-inspired dramedy. The series follows Liv Moore (get it?), a zombie medical examiner (Rose
McIver) surviving on brains of murder victims and helping the police solve the crimes. (She gets visions from the victims' lives.) The series starts out as a murder-of-the-week procedural, but slowly morphs into a more serialized and political drama that uses zombies as a metaphor for "others" in society. Last year's third season was the most ambitious yet, and the fourth returns Feb. 26 at 9 ET/PT. The first three seasons are short enough to watch over two days.
